The thought floored me at about 12:17 p.m. today as I crossed a city street: Why has no ska band significantly covered “Land of a Thousand Dances?”Â
Too obvious?

When they premiered the new show later that year, a critic said something along the lines of “Arthur Marx creates a wonderful world of pantomime that is ruined every time he opens his mouth.” Dad wasn’t an overly sensitive man, but I think that really stung him. He essentially never spoke onstage again from that moment on.
This is a test. It is only a test. Had this been a real emergency, it would not have been a test.
Meanwhile, in downtown Washington, D.C.
Got this thing passed on. The rules: Don’t take too long to think about it. Fifteen albums you’ve heard that will always stick with you. List the first fifteen you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes. Tag fifteen friends, including me, because I’m interested in seeing what albums my friends choose. (To do this, go to your Notes tab on your profile page, paste rules in a new note, cast your fifteen picks, and tag people in the note – underneath the Body is a section for tagging -just start typing friends names, including mine.)
Note: It seems this isn’t a “best of” or “fave albums ever” but more of a look back to certain albums that bookmarked their importance in your musical personality.
